The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-known andestablishedgeneral haulage business based in Alfreton. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 (C+E) and Class 2 (CAT C) Drivers to join the team.

Job Type:Ongoing work / Temp to Perm opportunities available
Pay Rates:
Class 1 (C+E):
* £15.00 per hour (PAYE)
* £16.81 per hour (including rolled up holiday pay)
Class 2 (CAT C):
* £14.10 per hour (PAYE)
* £15.80 per hour (including rolled up holiday pay)
Additional Payments:
* £25 Night Out Allowance (applicable to all drivers completing nights out / tramping)
Shift Patterns & Start Times:
* Start times available from 03:00 onwards
* Day work available
* Optional nights out / tramping (completely flexible and driver choice)
* Full-time and part-time work available
* Work planned around driver availability and personal circumstances
The Role:
* General haulage work across commercial and residential deliveries
* Operatingcurtainsidervehicles
* Vehicles are pre-loaded on arrival to site
* Assistingwith offloading whererequired
* Minimal handball involved overall
* Occasional use of pallet truck and tail lift
* Nationwide deliveries and collections
* Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time
Requirements:
* Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (CAT C) licence
* Minimum 1 year driving experiencerequired
* Maximum 6 points for minor offences only
* Valid CPC and Digi Card
* Good understanding of driver hours and regulations
* Reliable,professionaland flexible approach to work
