Hays Education is experiencing a significant increase in demand for qualified KS2 Primary Teachers across Telford. Local schools are seeking enthusiastic, adaptable andmitted practitioners to deliver high‑quality teaching and learning on both short‑term and long‑term supply placements.
Your new role
As a KS2 Supply Teacher in Telford, you will work with a variety of schools within the Telford and Wrekin local authority, supporting pupils across Key Stage 2 in line with your experience and passion for upper primary teaching. This is an excellent opportunity if you are looking for flexibility, variety, and the chance to make a real impact across multiple school environments.
We can offer:
1. Advanced bookings as well as same day cover
2. Full day or half day assignments (AM or PM)
3. Short term daily supply
4. Long term roles, ranging from a minimum of 2 weeks to the remainder of the academic year
Whether you are newly qualified, returning to teaching, or an experienced KS2 practitioner seeking flexibility, Hays will work with you to secure placements that match your availability and expertise.
What you'll need to succeed
5. QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
6. A DBS on the Update Service, or willingness toplete a new application
7. Recent KS2 teaching experience within a UK primary school and the ability to provide school based references
8. Strong behaviour management and effective classroom practice
9. A positive, flexible and proactive approach to working across different schools
