This is an exciting opportunity to join and continue to shape a service in an ambitious Health and Social Care Partnership.
We are looking for physiotherapists who are committed to and are passionate about improving community services for adults within Midlothian and the management of frailty conditions and falls.
You will have a varied complex caseload incorporating patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment and discharge or onward referral, including neurological, orthopaedic/musculoskeletal, and other complex conditions. You will also have responsibility for the supervision, education and development of other team members and students. You will work flexibly completing both the rapid assessment of people in their own homes, using the Home First philosophy and the longer-term rehabilitation for this population. This post will also give you the opportunity for clinical and leadership development.
We are currently going through a period of service redesign thus we would welcome applications from innovative physiotherapists who have a clinical interest in older adults, frailty & falls and are passionate about community rehabilitation in general.
The successful candidate(s) will be HCPC registered as a physiotherapist.
