Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in home care or nursing home settings and possess a genuine passion for enhancing the quality of life for seniors. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of our clients.
Responsibilities
* Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
* Administer medication as per care plans and monitor clients for any adverse reactions.
* Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
* Assist with mobility and transportation needs, including driving clients to appointments or social outings.
* Maintain accurate records of client care, including daily activities and any changes in health status.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care plans tailored to individual needs.
* Ensure a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties as required.
Requirements
* Previous experience in home care or nursing home settings is highly desirable.
* Knowledge of senior care practices, including meal preparation and medication administration.
* Certification in First Aid is an advantage.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
* A valid driver's licence is preferred for transportation duties.
* Compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
* Ability to follow care plans accurately and respond effectively to client needs.
