The Role
Reporting directly to the Sales Director, the Logistics Supervisor will take ownership of the day-to-day running of outbound equipment sales shipments and collections. This is a pivotal role where youll oversee operations, coordinate with transport partners, and ensure a seamless delivery experience for customers.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing daily outbound shipments and collections
* Coordinating delivery schedules with third-party transport providers
* Acting as the main point of contact for couriers and customers
* Overseeing daily logistics operations and handling enquiries
* Communicating any changes, additional charges, or issues promptly
* Raising and managing purchase orders and shipment documentation
* Handling damage claims with couriers
* Monitoring and chasing outstanding collections and returns
About You

Youll ideally demonstrate:
* Strong administration, organisation, and customer service skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Good IT skills (experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Navision is beneficial but not essential)
* The ability to prioritise workload and make effective decisions quickly
* A proactive approach with the ability to use initiative
* Reliability and a high standard of work
* A willingness to learn and take on new challenges
* The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
