Management Accountant Interim - 4 Months Liverpool £225-£275/day (PAYE)
Are you an experienced Management Accountant looking for your next interim opportunity? We're working with a business based in Liverpool to find a capable finance professional for a 4 month engagement with an immediate start.
The Role:
This is a hands‑on group management accounting position sitting within a busy finance function. You'll be responsible for producing timely and accurate financial information to support key business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation of monthly management accounts
* Budget vs actual variance analysis with clear commentary
* Balance sheet reconciliations and ownership of month‑end close
* Supporting forecasting and budgeting processes
* Liaising with budget holders across the business
* Ad hoc financial reporting and analysis as required
What We're Looking For:
* Part‑qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) through to fully qualified
* Proven experience in a management accounting role OR in a hands‑on practice environment
* Strong Excel skills and confidence with accounting systems
* Ability to hit the ground running in a fast‑paced environment
* Immediately available
