Salary: GBP48,867 : GBP58,641 per annum (depending on experience)
Bonus: Performance:based quarterly bonus

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced High Voltage Electrical Engineer to join a leading industrial site in Shotton. This is a permanent opportunity offering long:term career prospects and excellent benefits. The role will focus on the maintenance, development, and compliance of high voltage electrical infrastructure within a demanding operational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the inspection, maintenance, and enhancement of high voltage (HV) electrical systems across the site.

Ensure compliance with all statutory and internal health and safety regulations.
*
Provide technical leadership and support for projects involving HV infrastructure.
*
Plan and coordinate routine and preventative maintenance activities.
*
Diagnose and resolve HV electrical faults efficiently to reduce downtime.
*
Collaborate with internal engineering teams and external contractors.
*
Identify opportunities for system improvements in reliability, performance, and safety.
Essential Requirements:
*
Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
*
Proven experience in the maintenance and operation of high voltage electrical systems, ideally within a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment.
*
Strong understanding of health and safety legislation relating to HV systems.
*
Demonstrated ability in fault:finding, problem:solving, and risk management.
*
Capable of working independently and collaboratively in cross:functional teams.
Desirable:
Familiarity with continuous improvement practices (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma).
Knowledge of industry standards related to HV system management.
