We are based on the Racecourse Retail Park inside the Pets at Home store, at the heart of the local community. Our practice provides excellent facilities giving you access to all the equipment and space you need to care for your patients. We are in a great location with ample parking and great access to local amenities, providing a great variation for those important lunch breaks!
What your typical day will look like
This role blends front of house reception duties with responsibility for managing and growing our social media presence. You will be the friendly face clients see in practice and the voice they connect with online. From welcoming clients and managing bookings to creating engaging social media content and promoting the practice online, you’ll play a key role in both client experience and community engagement.
We’re looking for someone with previous receptionist and social media experience, who is confident, organised, compassionate, and comfortable in a busy environment. You’ll bring energy, positivity, and creativity to the role, along with a genuine love for animals and people. As a busy and expanding practice, we’re looking for someone who thrives in a pressure, customer-facing environment.
Your focus is to provide an exceptional service to our clients and the best care possible to their pets - providing a link between clients and the clinical team. Your ability to build strong relationships with our clients, their pets and the practice team will be critical to your success.
Your great client service during a client’s visit will make sure that their absolute satisfaction is given, and that the client leaves knowing that they have received exceptional service and look forward to their next visit.
This is a Full Time role working 40 hours per week. This role will include weekend shifts on a rota basis (Saturday 9am to 5pm, Sunday 10am to 4pm).
