My client are a regional civil engineering business. They are looking to onboard a QA manager to help oversee the delivery of a new contract in North Wales. My client operate across the transport, renewable, coastal and infrastructure sectors. QA manager responsibilities: * Create, review, and maintain the project’s QA/QC procedures, inspection plans, and quality documentation. * Perform regular site inspections to verify work complies with specifications, drawings, and standards. * Check material certificates, method statements, ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), and ensure conformity before work begins. * Identify defects, issue NCRs, track corrective actions, and verify that issues are resolved effectively. * Communicate quality expectations, hold coordination meetings, and ensure all stakeholders follow QA requirements. * Keep updated documentation such as test results, inspection reports, and QA logs, and submit regular quality performance reports. QA Manager requirements: * Right to work in the UK. * Diploma or degree in civil engineering or construction management. * CSCS card. * Previous experience in QA managers role - 5 years + * Skilled in preparing Quality Plans, Inspection & Test Plans, checklists, and managing quality documentation. * IT literate. * Full UK driving licence.
