Our client is seeking a motivated Solicitor (0–4 years’ PQE) to join their award-winning Corporate team in their Bournemouth office, working closely with colleagues across their other office locations. This is a key role for someone who enjoys collaboration and is eager to help shape and grow the Corporate offering locally, with a particular emphasis on transactional matters. The Role The successful candidate will work alongside experienced lawyers on a wide range of corporate instructions. This includes drafting and reviewing corporate documentation, advising on restructures, and supporting transactions for a wide variety of clients—from serial acquirers (including private-equity-backed groups) to businesses undergoing disposals. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop strong transactional experience while playing an active part in expanding the presence of the Corporate team in Bournemouth. Key Responsibilities Assist the team with corporate matters including shareholder agreements, joint ventures, corporate governance documents, share option schemes, family investment structures and reorganisations. Take a hands-on role in transactional work, supporting buyers, sellers and investment-backed groups. Work with specialist departments to coordinate due diligence input. Prepare company secretarial documentation and manage statutory filings. Handle your own matters where appropriate, while supporting senior team members on more complex projects. Participate in marketing and business development initiatives to support the growth of the Bournemouth office. Stay informed on legal developments and join the team’s regular technical training sessions. About You Previous corporate experience is advantageous but not essential for the right candidate. Strong commercial instincts and a genuine interest in transactional corporate work. Clear, confident communication skills in both written and spoken form. Highly organised with strong attention to detail. Reliable drafting, typing and information-input abilities. Collaborative and supportive team ethos. Flexible, proactive and willing to take ownership of tasks. Competent IT user, especially Microsoft Office applications. Responsible and accountable approach to workload management.
