Minimum 1+ years school psychologist experience required.
An opportunity exists for a dedicated professional to provide crucial support as a School Psychologist covering a three-month maternity leave. This contract position is situated in a K-12 educational environment and will commence in the Fall, focusing on serving an 800-student high school.
Qualifications:
* Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
* Valid state licensure or certification in School Psychology
* Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in high school settings
* Strong evaluation and assessment skills
* Ability to collaborate effectively with school staff and families
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
Location:
* Springfield, MA
Responsibilities:
* Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for approximately eight students per month
* Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to support student needs
* Participate in school meetings and contribute to the development of student support plans
* Provide guidance on psychological practices and interventions within the school
* Engage in additional school duties as required to enhance the educational environment
