Senior Children’s Support Worker
Salary
£31,687 or £16.25 per hour (+potential overtime)
Full time
5 days per week including weekends – 37.5 hours per week

Requirements
* Must be at least 21 years old
* Relevant experience working in a supportive role
* Willing to undertake personal care
* Confident working with challenging behaviour
* A genuine interest in childcare
* 1 year experience as a Senior/Team Leader – duties including shift leading, medication, staff supervision
Desirable
* Level 3 Residential Childcare Diploma
* Experience in specialist care for children with autism, learning disabilities, or complex backgrounds
Responsibilities
* Supporting with team leadership
* Carrying out risk assessments and updating care plans
* Administering medication
* Providing quality and consistent care to help meet social, emotional, and behavioural needs
* Supporting young people to do their favourite things and to try new activities
* Promoting child safety and welfare and working with relevant stakeholders to do the same
