Cover Teacher Location: Caldicot Start Date: 22 nd April 2024 Salary: £157.66 per day Hours: 8.30am – 3pm Teaching Personnel is seeking a skilled Supply Teacher to provide high-quality teaching across all subjects at a reputable secondary school. Preferred candidates will possess a minimum of 1 year of teaching experience. However, we also accept applications from newly qualified teachers. The ability to seamlessly adapt to various classroom environments. As this is a large school with a diverse student and faculty population, actively immersing yourself in the environment and building relationships with both students and staff is of utmost importance. Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and effective lessons across a range of subjects to pupils aged 11-16. Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment. Follow the school's policies and procedures, including lesson planning and assessment. Adapt teaching methods to cater to the individual needs and abilities of students. Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate progress to the relevant staff. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualifications. Enhanced Child Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance. Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC). Safeguarding trained. Be able to provide 2 references.
