About the role
At the intersection of Digital Product, Change and Risk Management, we look for a candidate who will own and champion process evolution with a high degree of autonomy, partnering with the Process and Product Management team. Your mission is to bridge ambitious business growth with a sound risk culture, ensuring resilience and sustainability.
What you’ll do
Our ability to grow and manage risk is tied to the efficiency of our core systems. You will help architect how we embed robust risk controls and streamline complex workflows.
In this role, you will move beyond tactical oversight to drive the product standard:
* Strategic Review – Analyse control metrics, looking for friction or control failures that drive risk or customer pain.
* Product Partnership – Liaise with Product and Technology teams to present data, influence the backlog and drive change. Voice the customer and process excellence, ensuring key business objectives and risk controls are represented.
* Deep Dive & Design – Ensure the control suite is efficient, scalable, and fully documented. Work with cross‑functional squads to map end‑to‑end process flows for key features or journeys.
* Control Testing – Partner with Second and Third Line functions to monitor key risks, document findings, and progress improvements to completion.
The Outcomes You’ll Drive
* Fostering a Risk‑Aware Culture – Consult product teams to shift compliance from a hurdle to risk as a foundation.
* Driving Automated Governance – Lead the transition to a digitised control suite, replacing manual touchpoints with automated, data‑driven monitoring.
* Strategic Stakeholder Management – Partner with 2nd and 3rd line functions (Risk and Audit) to provide transparent assurance and continuous improvement opportunities.
* Data‑Driven Decisioning – Translate raw data into strategic insights that influence prioritisation and investment across acquisition platforms.
What we’re looking for
We seek someone who combines deep analytical rigor, technical understanding, and process governance, with the ability to influence cross‑functionally. Experience in digital product management is an advantage.
* Data Storyteller – Exceptional numerical ability and analytical curiosity to spot trends and navigate complex systems.
* Improvement Expert – Hands‑on experience with LEAN or Six Sigma to deliver measurable process improvements.
* Risk Specialist – Experience in Risk Management and performance‑testing controls to manage key business risks.
* Cross‑Functional Communicator – Adept at influencing cross‑functionally, contributing to key decisions and driving tangible results.
* Detail‑Oriented – Strong attention to detail in documentation and understanding system interdependencies.
Professional Integrity – Balanced, customer‑first decision making that enhances fair customer outcomes.
Where and how you'll work
This is a permanent position and can be based in our Nottingham or London offices. We offer a hybrid working model allowing flexibility to work from offices and home. Collaboration is key; you would be based in the Nottingham office three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).
