Electrical Technician
Location: THG ICON 2, Sunbank Lane, Altrincham WA15 0AF
Shifts: Days/Nights pattern.

About Operations
The Operations division is at the heart of our customers’ experience. We manufacture a wide range of sports nutrition and cosmetic consumer goods and dispatch them to customers in over 200 countries from our manufacturing and distribution centres.
Responsibilities
* Maintain THG sites, ensuring colleagues and visitors are in a clean, safe environment.
* Perform day-to-day maintenance for reactive, quoted and planned tasks, compliance inspections and regulatory inspections of electrical infrastructure and on-site assets.
Requirements
* Good literacy and numeracy skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Previous electrical experience (lighting, wiring, alarm systems, fire prevention systems).
* Knowledge of building regulations, safety regulations and practices.
* Ability to read and follow electrical drawings.
* 18th Edition wiring regulations.
* IEE regulations knowledge, City & Guilds 2360 and 2382 qualifications, and inspection and testing certificate (2391).
* Familiarity with NICEIC requirements.
* Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to plan ahead; ability to prioritise and manage own time; ability to work on own initiative; ‘Can do’ attitude.
* High level of health and safety awareness.
* Good computer literacy and MS Office skills.
* Relevant electrical qualification such as NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation Diploma.
