We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead the kitchen at our well-established and thriving riverside venue, located just outside Newark.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative and driven chef to take the reins of a busy kitchen, delivering high-quality food in a picturesque setting.
About the Role:
As Head Chef, you will be responsible for the overall management of the kitchen, including:
* Leading and inspiring a team of kitchen staff
* Designing seasonal menus that showcase fresh, high-quality ingredients
* Maintaining high standards of food preparation and presentation
* Managing stock, suppliers, and kitchen budgets
* Ensuring strict hygiene and health & safety compliance
About You:
* Proven experience in a similar role, ideally in a high-volume environment
* A passion for creating exceptional, fresh dishes
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
* Able to thrive under pressure and lead by example
