What You’ll Do: Carry out street cleansing tasks as part of a one-off project, ensuring high standards across Newport’s public spaces. Work within the Waste & Cleansing division, following daily schedules to maintain cleanliness and safety. Support the team by adhering to health and safety regulations, wearing provided protective clothing, and reporting any issues. Collaborate with supervisors and operatives, contributing to a cleaner Newport through efficient and dedicated work. Engage with the public and client officers, delivering excellent customer service while working outdoors. What We’re Looking For: Skills: Ability to work to schedules and maintain high standards of cleanliness, with good customer care skills. Qualities: Reliable, hardworking, and committed to improving public spaces, with a positive attitude towards outdoor work. Experience: Previous experience in street cleansing or a similar role is a plus but not required—training will be provided. Requirements: Physically fit for outdoor work; ability to travel to Telford Street, Newport; eligibility to work in the UK.
