Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs (SEN)? Vision for Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive school in Plymouth.
The Role
As a Primary SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Support pupils with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD, and speech & language difficulties.
* Work one-to-one and in small groups to provide tailored learning support.
* Collaborate closely with teachers and SENCOs to implement EHCPs and behaviour plans.
* Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
* Promote independence and emotional well-being for every child.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Experience working with children with SEN (school-based or otherwise).
* A calm, patient, and empathetic approach.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* A genuine passion for making a difference in children's lives.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
