A nurturing Manchester primary is seeking a warm, creative Reception Teacher to join the Early Years team on a Part-Time basis from January 2026. The successful Reception Teacher will be asked to attend pre-term planning sessions prior to January 2026, to complete an induction in January 2026, and to take up teaching duties from January 2026 onward. This Part-Time Reception Teacher role is designed for a practitioner who wants to combine focused, high-impact EYFS practice with a sustainable timetable. Reception Teacher Responsibilities The Reception Teacher will: lead daily phonics and language sessions as the Reception Teacher; design and maintain stimulating continuous provision as the Reception Teacher; use observation and assessment to plan next steps as the Reception Teacher; engage families through workshops and support transition into Year 1 as the Reception Teacher. The Reception Teacher will prepare resources before January 2026, attend induction in January 2026 and teach from January 2026 as a Part-Time Reception Teacher. Reception Teacher Requirements We are seeking a Reception Teacher with QTS/EYTS or equivalent and demonstrable early years experience. The Reception Teacher must be creative, organised and committed to building strong relationships with children and families. Availability for pre-term planning prior to January 2026, attendance at induction in January 2026, and teaching from January 2026 as a Part-Time Reception Teacher is essential.
