Regional People Partner
South Region | Multi-Site Manufacturing Environment | Hybrid
We're partnering with a large, well-established manufacturing business to recruit a Regional People Partner supporting approximately 1,000 employees across multiple sites in the South of England. This is a highly visible role where you'll work closely with senior operational leaders to drive business performance through people strategy, employee engagement, organisational effectiveness and leadership capability.
This is an opportunity to join a business undergoing significant transformation and investment, where HR is viewed as a genuine strategic partner.
As Regional People Partner, you'll partner with site leadership teams across a multi-site operation, providing both strategic guidance and hands-on support across the full people agenda.
Key responsibilities:
- Partnering with senior leaders to develop and deliver people strategies aligned to business objectives
- Leading organisational change, workforce planning and restructuring initiatives
- Managing complex employee relations matters and supporting risk mitigation
- Building strong relationships with trade union representatives and supporting collective engagement activities
- Driving talent, succession and leadership development initiatives across the region
- Using people data and insight to identify trends, influence decision making and improve business performance
- Leading and developing a small HR team while championing a high-performance culture
- Supporting the delivery of wider business and HR transformation projects
Role profile:
- Significant HR Business Partnering experience within manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, FMCG, engineering or another operationally intensive environment.
- Experience supporting large employee populations across multiple sites.
- Strong employee relations expertise, including complex case management.
- Experience working within unionised environments and building effective trade union relationships.
- Demonstrable experience leading organisational change and transformation programmes.
- A data-driven approach to decision making and workforce planning.
- Strong coaching and influencing skills, with the confidence to challenge senior stakeholders constructively.
- CIPD qualification (Level 5 or Level 7 preferred).
