Practice Nurse - GP Surgery
Location: Warminster, Wiltshire
Hours: Part-Time or Full-Time
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum / up to £23 per hour
Overview
An opportunity for an experienced Practice Nurse to join a supportive GP surgery, delivering evidence-based nursing care to a registered patient population in line with NMC standards and practice protocols.
Key Duties
Routine practice nurse clinics including wound care, health promotion, and long-term condition support
Cervical screening, contraception reviews, and sexual health advice
Adult and childhood immunisations and other injections (PGD/PSD)
QOF-related activity and opportunistic screening
Accurate clinical documentation and adherence to infection control and safeguardingRequirements
Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
Ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team
Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
Commitment to ongoing professional developmentDesirable
Experience in General Practice
Competence in immunisations, cervical screening, and contraception
