_Due to continued success and growth, we are looking for a Combustion Service Engineer to join our amazing team. Engineers with experience in industrial combustion and control equipment are welcomed.

Boiler and Valve Engineering Ltd are specialists in industrial steam and hot water boilers and associated systems. From our Highland workshop we offer our customers a range of services including: combustion and control system maintenance, preparation of boilers for annual inspections and NDT, complete overhaul, servicing and calibration of system valves, steam and condensate system maintenance, design and survey and supply of spares for all manufacturers of steam and condensate equipment.
_Carry out planned and reactive maintenance of combustion equipment on customer sites
· Responding to customer callouts including participation in out of hours rota system
· Evaluating and resolving technical problems on-site and remotely alongside Boiler & Valve colleagues and/or site contacts
· Installing, commissioning, and servicing of combustion and gas equipment
· Testing and monitoring the performance of equipment and plant
· Providing customers with regular reports and feedback on their service requests, including completion of relevant paperwork
· providing customers with upgrade and energy saving options
· Training and mentoring of technical staff, including apprentices, supporting gas and combustion document packs for certification and competency
_Engineering degree or equivalent (HNC or above)
· Gas qualifications: Strong, proven background in an engineering environment, with a strong awareness of combustion and gas principles
· Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with dedication to achieving maximum performance and efficiency
· Exemplary verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences and produce high quality reports
· A full and valid UK driving licence
