Interpreters
We’re looking for interpreters to join our growing community at Dals. As a freelance interpreter, you will be registered on a self‑employed basis. You can decide your hours of work, travel distance, and number of assignments to suit your lifestyle.
As an interpreter you will attend appointments in person to support our clients and their non‑English speaking service users. You’ll help bridge communication gaps in essential settings like healthcare, legal, and public services—making every conversation count.
Responsibilities
* Interpret live conversations between clients and limited English speakers.
* Support communication in medical, legal, social services, and public sector settings.
* Ensure accurate, confidential, and culturally sensitive interpretation.
* Use the interpreting app to manage availability and assignments.
* Deliver excellent service that empowers people to access vital services.
Qualifications
* Fluency in English and Pashtu, Arabic or Dari.
* Strong communication and listening skills.
* Right to work.
