Job Description
Develop and implement quality assurance systems: Establish standards, procedures, and protocols, including a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Monitor product and service quality: Analyze test results, identify deviations, and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues.
Data analysis and reporting: Collect and interpret quality data to identify trends and root causes, prepare reports for management, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with design, engineering, and manufacturing teams to maintain quality throughout the product lifecycle, and provide training on best practices.
Continuous improvement: Implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues and enhance processes.
Regulatory compliance: Stay current with industry standards and ensure organizational adherence

The Successful Applicant
Extensive experience in quality management: At least 10+ years in quality assurance or related fields, with proven success in implementing and maintaining Quality Management Systems (QMS) and leading ISO certification efforts.
Strong technical expertise: Deep understanding of optical principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Analytical and problem-solving skills: Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Leadership and collaboration abilities: Skilled at working across design, engineering, and manufacturing teams, and capable of training others on quality standards and best practices.
Adaptability and results orientation: Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and responding effectively to change.
Excellent communication skills: Both written and verbal, with proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP systems (Dynamics 365 is a plus).
Educational background: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
