About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Legal Secretary to support our Conveyancing and Right to Buy Teams. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing crucial support to solicitors dealing with a range of property transactions, including Council tenants purchasing their own properties through the Right to Buy scheme, supporting the Council's asset rationalization, regeneration projects, as well as acquisitions, disposals, and leases to tenants.
About You
The ideal candidate will possess excellent administrative and communication skills, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to managing tasks. You will provide essential support to our solicitors and legal assistants, contributing to the smooth operation of our Conveyancing team.
The ideal candidate will have:
1. Experience of planning and organising own workload and be able to work flexibly in a pressured environment.
2. Ensure production of quality documents from standard formats using a range of Microsoft Office Suite applications.
3. Ability to communicate effectively having excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
4. Maintain organized and up-to-date physical and electronic filing systems.
5. Prepare and file legal documents with courts and various client departments.
6. Assist with billing and invoicing tasks as needed.
