Job Description:
As a Junior AOCS Engineer, you will work on the front lines of space engineering, focusing on spacecraft attitude dynamics and control algorithms. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic technical team, working alongside experienced engineers to develop and implement spacecraft systems from design to operations.
Responsibilities:
* Assist in designing and implementing Kalman filters for attitude estimation.
* Work with flight sensors and support spacecraft attitude determination/estimation.
* Use C/Python software development skills to support space missions.
* Collaborate with various engineering groups on spacecraft systems.
* Contribute to the success of missions by supporting different stages of engineering projects.
* Learn and apply emerging trends in space technology.
Qualifications:
* Academic background in engineering, preferably in aerospace or related fields.
* Familiarity with Kalman filter design and implementation for attitude estimation.
* Experience with C/Python programming.
* Basic understanding of flight sensors and spacecraft attitude determination/estimation.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
* Passion for space and technology.
