We're hiring Operations Assistants to provide essential assistance across different areas of our clients business, including their dispatch area at the Warehouse and their Production site.
You will play a vital role in ensuring that orders are processed efficiently and accurately, helping them meet delivery targets during the busy festive season, either through the packing operation or filling operations.
Depending on business needs, you may be rotated between dispatch and production and throughout your time with them .
This temporary position requires a proactive, reliable, and enthusiastic approach.
Full training will be provided to set you up for success, regardless of the area you’re working in.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations
Following all Health, Safety and Environmental rules set out by the client
Following all Quality and Good Manufacturing Practice requirements set out by the client
Administrative tasks set out by your manager/supervisor when required.
Following guidelines set out in the training provided
Dispatch
Working with stock management systems
Picking customer orders using barcode scanners
Packing customer orders using the stock management system and courier system
Ensuring orders are picked and packed to the highest standard
Ensuring workstations are always tidy
Taking part in regular stock takes
Making eco-friendly choices when packing customers orders
Helping to replenish picking shelves when needed
Production
Completing production factory tasks as outlined by management team
Packing and filling of product as set out by batch documentation
Use of stock management systems
Following all quality control requirements as set out within factory requirements.
