About The Role
We are seeking a Senior Systems Maintenance Technician to work primarily with Diamond’s Installation and Facility Management (IFM) maintenance team. The role involves providing technical support and assisting with building services and fabric maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, implement, and supervise operational and maintenance systems and procedures.
* Use tools such as EPICs and BMS for root cause analysis, fault resetting, and liaising with mechanical BMS team to improve equipment operation.
* Assist in system and project design reviews and support project activities.
* Support maintenance administration tasks, including planned maintenance, reactive jobs, and spares control.
* Provide line management to Maintenance Support Technicians in the absence of the Maintenance Manager.
* Diagnose faults on site services, including electrical and mechanical systems.
* Carry out safety risk assessments.
The role may require supporting non-maintenance activities and participating in on-call duties as needed.
About You
You should hold a City & Guilds BS7671 Wiring Regulations Qualification or equivalent, and have completed a recognized apprenticeship in engineering. Experience with LV electrical systems, wiring to 18th Edition, UPS, standby generators, fire detection, and smoke control systems is essential. Supervisory experience and familiarity with Building Management Systems are desirable.
