Our client, a specialist accountancy, tax and business advisory firm is seeking an experienced Accounts Semi-Senior to join their small friendly team on a part-time basis. * Up to £35,000 pro-rata

* Driving licence is required due to the location of the office
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Preparation of year-end statutory accounts, VAT returns, tax computations from client records, for; sole traders, partnership and limited companies
* Assisting clients with their financial record keeping
* Assisting with the preparation of corporation tax returns, personal tax returns, capital gains tax computations, IHT
* Excellent customer service and being the day-to-day point of contact for clients
* Liaising with clients including on-site visits when required
* Possibility to participate in networking and business development along with supporting at training events
Skills and experience required:
* ACCA / ACA full or part qualified OR AAT qualified with a solid knowledge of accounting standards
* Previous experience of working within a practice environment at an Accounts Semi Senior level is essential
* Experience of business within the agricultural and rural sector is desirable
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, VLOOKUP’s)
* Experience with accounting software CCH and cloud accounting software
* Confident, friendly, and self-motivated as you will be required to work on your own sometimes
