The Role
As a Press Brake Setter / Operator, you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC press brakes, carrying out all sheet metal folding activities, and ensuring production targets are met efficiently and to a high standard. You will work closely with management and supervision teams to maintain quality, improve processes, and support a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Set, program, and operate CNC press brakes
* Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
* Produce components to specification, quality standards, and required quantities
* Ensure production deadlines are achieved efficiently
* Maintain high quality standards in line with company procedures
* Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
* Adhere to Health & Safety policies at all times
* Identify and report inefficiencies, time overruns, or quality issues
* Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve efficiency
* Assist with training and development of team members where required
