Job Description: Lawyers MUST be UK-based and qualified in England & Wales.
A large UK charity is seeking a senior (8+ PQE) commercial property lawyer to join its property team. The role is fully remote, with optional office attendance.
You will:
Lead on complex property transactions involving the charity's land, including acquisitions, disposals, leases, easements, licenses, and agreements.
Advise on various transactional matters like land & buildings, development, utilities, and infrastructure.
Draft, review, and negotiate property documentation such as contracts, transfers, leases, and agreements.
Mentor and supervise junior team members, promoting best practices and professional development.
Manage external legal counsel as needed.
Identify and mitigate risks related to property, complying with policies and legal obligations.
Ensure legal advice delivery aligns with the organisation's support framework.
The ideal candidate will have substantial post-qualification experience, strong land law knowledge, and excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills. An interest in environmental issues is a plus.
The salary is approximately £55,000 per annum, with excellent benefits. The team values a collaborative, flexible, remote working environment with occasional face-to-face meetings.
To apply, send your CV to Adele Callaghan, including your current remuneration details, or contact for a discussion.
Note: Lawyers must be UK-based and qualified in England & Wales.
