Connect Appointments are recruiting a Driver's Mate to join our client's team in Carlisle on an ongoing temporary basis.
Please note - The ability to pass a DBS/Disclosure check is essential for this role.
Schedule: Ad hoc shifts so candidates must be flexible
Pay rate: £12.21 per hour, rising to £12.38 per hour after 12 weeks of service
As a Driver's Mate you will assist in the delivery and transportation of a variety of goods, while providing excellent customer service.
Skills and requirements:
* Assist with home removals, lifting heavy and awkward items safely
* Load and unload furniture, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage
* Provide excellent customer service while working directly with customers
To be successful as a Driver's Mate, you will:
* Have, or have the ability to pass, a DBS/Disclosure (essential)
* Be able to work as part of a team
* Have strong communication skills
* Have strong communication skills and be physically fit as this can be a very demanding but rewarding profession
