About the Role: Provide vital support to pupils, including those with special educational needs and Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). Assist teaching staff in managing classroom activities, helping pupils engage with the curriculum both in and out of the classroom. Support the development and implementation of Individual Education, Behaviour, and Personal Care Plans. Help prepare and maintain classroom resources and specialist equipment. Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents/carers. Support pupils in structured learning programmes, including literacy, numeracy, and ICT. Promote positive behaviour, encouraging pupils to take responsibility for their own actions. Assist with administrative tasks such as marking, photocopying, and preparing materials. Supervise pupils during break times and accompany them on school visits and activities. Uphold safeguarding, health and safety, and confidentiality policies. What We’re Looking For: Experience working with children in a school setting, ideally supporting pupils with additional needs. A patient, reliable, and supportive approach to pupil care and learning. Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupils’ welfare.
