New Business Account Handler Maidstone, Hybrid | £30,000 – £35,000 | Permanent We’re working with a well-respected insurance organisation in Maidstone who are seeking a driven New Business Account Handler to join their Corporate & Commercial division. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a motor trade insurance background, though applications will also be considered from candidates with a broader commercial insurance background and proven experience in new business. The Role Convert incoming warm leads and generate new opportunities to achieve business growth targets Work closely with Account Executives to develop strategies for winning new clients and attend meetings where required Undertake market exercises to obtain the most competitive terms available Produce accurate, professional documentation and ensure all activity is recorded effectively on Acturis Manage premiums and ensure compliance with procedures prior to cover commencement Cross-sell products and services to maximise opportunities across divisions Handle client queries with confidence, escalating where necessary About You Minimum 2 years’ experience in corporate, commercial, or motor insurance with a focus on new business Strong technical insurance knowledge across key commercial classes Proven track record in lead conversion, negotiation, and broking Excellent client service and relationship-building skills Highly organised with the ability to manage priorities and deadlines Acturis knowledge (preferred) Cert CII qualified (or working towards) What’s on Offer Competitive salary of £30,000 – £35,000 (depending on experience) Hybrid working – 3 days office / 2 days home Clear progression opportunities and professional development support Collaborative culture where success is celebrated and progression encouraged
