Teaching Personnel are exclusively working with a local school who are seeking multiple Learning Support Assistant to join their team from September!
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one or small group support to students in academic, social, and emotional development.
Assist teachers in preparing and adapting learning materials to meet individual student needs.
Support students in accessing the curriculum and participating in classroom activities.
Help manage student behaviour in a positive and constructive manner.
Assist with personal care needs where required (e.g., mobility, feeding, hygiene).
Monitor and record student progress, reporting to teachers and SENCO as needed.
Foster a positive and supportive relationship with students, promoting their independence and self-esteem.
Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience working with children or young people, particularly those with SEN (desirable).
A good understanding of various special educational needs (e.g., autism, dyslexia, ADHD, SEMH).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting student learning.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
