Overview
Computer Science Teacher – Birmingham. A forward-thinking secondary school in Birmingham is looking for an enthusiastic Computer Science teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a long-term role, initially until December, with the potential to extend. You’ll be teaching Computer Science across KS3 and KS4, supporting students to develop valuable digital and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Computer Science for KS3 and KS4, building theoretical knowledge and practical coding skills.
* Help students prepare for GCSEs and develop skills for the future through understanding algorithms, programming, and digital technologies.
Qualifications
* Hold QTS with recent experience teaching Computer Science at secondary level.
* Confident delivering programming and theory to KS3 and KS4 pupils.
* Strong classroom management and ability to engage students of all abilities.
* Passion for technology and commitment to helping young people succeed.

The ICT/Computer Science department is well-equipped to support creative and engaging lessons.
