Job Title: BRCGS & Compliance Coordinator (On-site)
Salary: £35,000 per annum (37.5 hours per week)
About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented BRCGS & Compliance Coordinator to support the ongoing development, implementation, and maintenance of their Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure full compliance with BRCGS and regulatory standards.
This is a key role within the business, responsible for maintaining operational compliance, supporting audits, monitoring quality performance, and ensuring services consistently meet both legal requirements and customer expectations.
You will act as the primary point of contact for BRCGS compliance, working cross-functionally with operational teams, suppliers, and customers to drive continuous improvement and maintain certification standards.
In addition, the role will support administrative operations, internal systems coordination, and quality reporting to ensure effective governance and high service delivery standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and develop the BRCGS framework across the operation, supporting ongoing certification
* Monitor and enhance the Quality Management System (QMS) and compliance processes
* Act as the main internal and external contact for BRCGS and compliance matters
* Analyse quality performance data and produce reports against key KPIs
* Ensure compliance with national and international standards, legislation, and customer requirements
* Coordinate quality procedures, documentation, and internal audits
* Investigate customer complaints and manage corrective actions and compliance queries
* Deliver quality and compliance training to staff where required
* Liaise with customers, suppliers, and service providers to ensure service specifications are met
* Support operational teams in maintaining health & safety, environmental, and quality standards
* Provide administrative coordination to support smooth operational processes
Essential:
* Experience working with BRCGS standards and compliance systems
* Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS)
* Experience supporting audits, compliance monitoring, and document control
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to produce detailed reports
* Ability to interpret regulatory standards and customer requirements
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* High level of organisation and attention to detail
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and Word)
* Ability to work cross-functionally with operations, suppliers, and customers
Desirable:
* Experience within logistics, warehousing, or supply chain environments
* Experience implementing or maintaining BRCGS certification
* Knowledge of health & safety compliance requirements
* Experience delivering training on quality or compliance procedures
* Familiarity with audit processes and corrective action systems
