.Pensions Administrator - upto 32k
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Pensions Administrator to join our team. This role offers a competitive salary of up to £32,000, depending on experience, and requires a strong background in Defined Benefit (DB) pensions administration.
Role & Responsibilities:
Defined Benefit:
* Calculate retirement quotes, leaver benefits, death benefits, and spouse's benefits.
* Check transfer values and issue statements.
Defined Contribution (Optional):
* Calculate retirement quotes, leaver benefits, death benefits, and spouse's benefits.
* Check transfer values.
Other Pensions Tasks:
* Run pension increases and process renewals.
* Manage trustee bank accounts and handle bulk mailings and calculations.
* Use standard letters and peer-check simple letters.
* Draft administration reports and ensure Compendia is up to date.
* Provide feedback on working practices and complete annual scheme returns.
* Identify upcoming NRDs and request valuation data.
General Tasks:
* Achieve SLAs, log work, and manage your own workload.
* Complete accurate timesheets and support seniors, Team Leaders, and Admin Managers.
* Take ownership of your development and carry out additional responsibilities as required.
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 8 GCSEs, including Maths and English.
* A levels/degree would be advantageous.
* Willingness to study for professional exams such as APE, RPC, ADRP, CPC.
Knowledge, Experience, Skills:
* Experience in DB pensions administration is essential.
* Strong analytical skills with a logical approach to problem-solving.
* Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and provide constructive feedback.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and computerised administration systems.
