Empros Retail is a fast growing bussiness working with retail clients and delivery platform partners to help local businesses grow their online presence, promote key offers, and drive commercial results.
We’re looking for a Creative Marketing Specialist to join our team and support a portfolio of retail clients across social media marketing, content creation, campaign delivery, and client communication.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys bringing brands to life online. You’ll be creating engaging social content, writing captions, planning campaigns, managing client accounts, and making sure each client’s marketing feels fresh, consistent, and commercially focused.
One day you might be designing social graphics and editing short form video. The next, you could be checking in with a client, or spotting an opportunity to help a retailer increase engagement, footfall, or online sales.

What you’ll be doing
• Managing day to day social media activity for a portfolio of retail clients.
• Creating engaging digital content, including social media graphics, short form videos, promotional assets, and campaign visuals.
• Writing clear, engaging, on brand copy for captions, adverts, offers, and promotional campaigns.
• Planning and scheduling content to keep client activity consistent and timely.
• Liaising directly with clients to understand their promotions, events, priorities, and marketing needs.
• Keeping campaigns organised, on schedule, and aligned with each client’s brand.
• Spotting opportunities for clients to connect with their audience, promote key products, and stand out from competitors.
• Working with the wider Empros team to deliver high-quality creative marketing support.
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who can balance creativity with organisation. Someone who can make content look great, manage multiple accounts, and build strong relationships with clients.
You’ll likely be a great fit if you are:
• Creative, proactive, and full of ideas.
• Confident creating content for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
• Comfortable designing graphics and producing short form video content.
• Highly organised and able to manage multiple clients, deadlines, and campaigns at once.
• Confident speaking with clients and building strong working relationships.
• Commercially aware, with an understanding of how good marketing can support sales, visibility, and customer engagement.
• Detail focused, reliable, and able to keep content consistent and on brand.
Skills and experience
Essential
• Experience in social media marketing, content creation, digital marketing, or a similar creative role.
• Strong design and visual content skills.
• Ability to write engaging captions and promotional copy.
• Good understanding of social media platforms and what makes content perform well.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage several projects at once.
Nice to have
• Experience working with retail, hospitality, convenience, FMCG, or local business clients.
• Basic understanding of paid social media advertising.
• Experience creating Reels, TikToks, or other short form video content.
• Confidence reviewing content performance and suggesting improvements.
