GN - Strategy - Transaction Advisory- Consultant
Strategy Team Lead/Consultant | Full time | Experience: 5-10 years
This role is for a highly driven entrepreneurial individual who will sit within the GN – Transaction Advisory team of Accenture Strategy and will work closely with GN Industry/Functional Consulting Teams, Client Account Teams, and Global PE Consulting Leadership across different geographies to identify and convert opportunities, deliver/manage complex engagements, and rapidly build a team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Delivery: Lead execution of complex consulting projects for Private Equity and Corporate clients across Pre-Deal, Deal Execution, and Value Creation/Scaling phases. Ensure high-quality, timely delivery through effective team management, defining deliverables, and setting priorities and deadlines.
2. Business Development: Identify and convert client opportunities by building relationships with Global PE/M&A Leadership, Client Teams, and stakeholders. Support RFP discussions, prepare proposals, and collaborate with Bid Managers and Account Leads. Leverage knowledge and assets to originate new projects/extensions.
3. Practice Development: Contribute to creating new assets/IP, thought leadership, and offerings to enhance team and firm visibility. Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions, mentor team members, and stay updated with emerging concepts through training and certifications.
Qualifications and Experience:
* MBA from a Tier 1 institute with at least 6 years of experience in Private Equity or top-tier Management Consulting, advising across deal lifecycle including Pre-Deal, Deal Execution, and Value Creation.
* Experience in M&A Deal Advisory, including Due Diligence, Sector Research, Target Screening, Post-Merger Integration, Portfolio Strategy, ESG, Technology Transformation, and Outsourcing. Experience in Tech M&A, Digital Due Diligence, and Technology Landscape Assessment is also valued.
* Deep industry expertise in CMT, Financial Services, Resources, Healthcare/Life Sciences, Consumer Goods & Services, or Retail.
* Proven ability to develop assets, accelerators, and thought leadership based on research.
* Entrepreneurial mindset to grow the team and a tenacity to meet challenging targets.
