Domiciliary Care Assistant

Responsibilities
* Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
* Develop and maintain care plans tailored to individual client needs, ensuring they are regularly updated.
* Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive support.
* Drive clients to appointments or social activities as necessary, ensuring their safety and comfort during transport.
* Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition or needs.
* Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
* Adhere to all health and safety regulations while providing home care services.
Requirements
* Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with clients and families.
* A valid driving licence is required for transport as needed.
* Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is preferred but not mandatory.
* Knowledge of IT systems for record keeping and communication purposes is advantageous.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to empathise and connect with clients on a personal level.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism at all times.
