We’re partnering with a fast-growing, international digital business that operates at significant scale and pace. They are investing heavily in their technology landscape and are looking for a commercially minded procurement professional to help shape how key services and platforms are sourced and managed.
This is a high-impact role where you’ll take ownership of technology-related spend, working closely with senior stakeholders to drive value, improve supplier performance, and support business growth through smarter procurement decisions.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for developing and delivering category plans across a broad range of technology areas. From sourcing through to contract negotiation and supplier management, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the business is set up with the right partners and commercial structures.
Key responsibilities include:
Designing and delivering category strategies across various technology spend areas
Leading end-to-end sourcing activity, including tenders and commercial negotiations
Managing and developing key supplier relationships to ensure strong performance and value delivery
Analysing spend data to identify efficiencies, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for optimisation
Partnering with internal teams to align procurement activity with wider business objectives
Enhancing procurement processes, tools, and governance frameworks
Keeping up to date with market trends and emerging solutions to support informed decision-making
About You
We’re looking for someone who combines strong commercial acumen with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
You will likely have:
Experience within procurement, sourcing, or category management in a technology-focused environment
A proven track record of negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships
Strong analytical capability, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
A genuine interest in how technology supports business performance
Exposure to areas such as cloud-based services, software licensing, or cost optimisation frameworks would be beneficial but not essential.
