Our Trust is committed to improving the quality of child health services across Hampshire and takes pride in rewarding the success of its staff.</p><p>Do you have NNEB Diploma or Diploma in Childcare and Education (CACHE) or NVQ/SNVQ Level 3 in Early Years and Education or BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Early Years?</p><p>Then we would love to hear from you.</p><p>We are looking for a motivated professional with excellent communication skills who has the ability to work independently and as part of a corporate skill mixed team delivering the Healthy Child Programme using a public health approach, which may include leading group work with children and families.</p><p>As a team player, you will work under the leadership and supervision of the Health Visitors. You will be expected to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of all aspects of safeguarding children whilst being supported by robust organisational supervision, guidelines and policies.</p><p>We are well known for our creative approach in supporting our communities, children and families with great innovations including ChatHealth, our Text Messaging Advice Service; the Parent Portal, an interactive web-based information hub for parents, and our partnership with Barnardos which offers community-based public health programmes. We are proud of having achieved BFI accreditation at gold standard.</p><h3>Main duties of the job</h3><p>Access to a vehicle and possession of a full driving licence is essential.</p><p>The primary role of the Community Nursery Nurse is to deliver elements of the Healthy Child Programme including the 6 High Impact Areas as delegated by Health Visitors. The Community Nursery Nurse should ensure the quality of service delivery to children, young people and their families is aligned with the commissioned requirements of the Healthy Child Programme 0-19yrs and the Trust vision and values. This includes working in partnership with internal and external colleagues and partners.</p><h3>About us</h3><p>Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust provides joined-up mental and physical healthcare for around two million people across our communities. Our neurological services offer rehabilitation and treatment for conditions including Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinsons Disease, Motor Neurone Disease, Head Injury, Cerebral Palsy and Stroke.
