Role Overview You will join our KS2 team as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, supporting class teachers and working closely with children in Years 3-6. Your role will involve both whole-class support and targeted small-group or one-to-one interventions to help children make excellent progress, using your experience and initiative to enhance learning outcomes. Key Responsibilities Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons in KS2. Work individually or with small groups of children to reinforce learning and build confidence. Support positive behaviour and contribute to a positive classroom culture of respect, motivation, and collaboration. Monitor pupil progress, provide feedback, and alert the teacher to any concerns or opportunities. Help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment. Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and carers as needed to support pupil development. Person Specification - Successful Candidate Will Have: Experience working with children in a Key Stage 2 (or similar) setting. A recognised Level 3 TA qualification (or equivalent) - or a strong willingness to obtain one. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, staff, and families.
