Elite Personnel is working with a well-regarded accountancy practice based in Tamworth, seeking an experienced Bookkeeper / Management Accountant to join their growing team. This role offers flexibility in hours and is available on either a full-time or part-time basis, making it ideal for professionals looking to balance work with other commitments.

Role Responsibilities
* Managing day-to-day bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients
* Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports
* Handling VAT returns, bank reconciliations, and general ledger work
* Supporting year-end accounts preparation in collaboration with senior accountants
* Liaising directly with clients, providing excellent service and advice
* Ensuring records are up to date and in line with compliance standards
* Using accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero, QuickBooks) efficiently and accurately
Ideal Candidate
* Proven experience in bookkeeping and/or management accounts (practice experience desirable)
* AAT qualified or working towards / qualified by experience
* Confident working independently and managing multiple clients
* Strong knowledge of accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
* Organised, proactive, and able to manage priorities effectively
* Friendly, professional, and a great team player
