We also offer an optional nine-day fortnight scheme, allowing you to compress your hours if it suits the role.What you’ll be doingSupport the preparation of service charge budgets and year-end statementsAssist with monthly accounting processes including journals, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliationsReview and analyse service charge costs, investigating variances and providing clear commentaryWork with budget holders and internal teams to ensure costs are accurately recorded and allocatedProduce financial data and analysis to support decision-makingHelp deliver the full service charge cycle, ensuring deadlines are metSupport the production and review of scheme-level budgets and statementsLiaise with auditors and support audit requirementsMaintain and improve data accuracy within service charge systems (including Bluebox)Respond to internal and external queries, providing clear and helpful informationIdentify opportunities to improve processes and drive efficienciesWhat we’re looking forWe’d love to hear from you if you:Are part-qualified (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) or working towards a qualificationHave experience in a finance or accounting role (service charges experience is a bonus)Are confident working with financial data and large datasetsHave strong Excel skills and enjoy analysing informationCan manage your time effectively and meet tight deadlinesAre a great communicator who can explain financial information clearlyEnjoy working both independently and as part of a teamHave a proactive, “can-do” attitude and a focus on continuous improvementAre interested in developing your knowledge of service charge accounting and housing financeIf specific qualifications are required, please upload them with your application to demonstrate your eligibility.At PA Housing, we believe in respect, integrity, and accountability.
