Project Officer – LUF Transport (Fixed Term)

£35, - £38,
You will be responsible for effectively and proactively assisting in the management of capital projects including roads maintenance projects as part of the Levelling Up Transport bid.
You will act as the Council’s lead representative on site for a range of capital investment projects across the levelling up transport bid and support the Project manager to ensure accurate monitoring and forecasting of the project.
You will have a good standard of education and be educated to SCQF Level 7-9 in Civil engineering or a relevant discipline. You will show a good degree of initiative and inter-personal skills and have experience of working in a project environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience of the design and delivery of roads maintenance contracts and a sound understanding of the principals of project management. You will have an ability to work under pressure. Prioritising work to meet deadlines and using your own initiative are also essential.
This post is fixed term for up to 9 months.
This post may be suitable for secondment. Agreement from your line manager must be sought before applying for this post on a secondment basis.
