The role:
The Issuer Partnerships Manager will play a critical role in developing and delivering Ant's issuer relationship management. This role involves executing strategy, solution enablement, performance tracking, and managing executive relationships with global issuer and scheme partners. The goal is to ensure our partnerships with issuer & card schemes are world-class and measurable through payment performance. This role reports directly to the Head of Financial Institution Partnership (ASIA & MEA).
What You'll Do:
* Drive Ant International - Antom's Issuer engagement programme.
* Manage the entire lifecycle of issuer partnerships from strategy, enablement/implementation, to performance tracking.
* Work with Issuers, internal product teams, and payment operations to deliver optimized payment services, improving payment success ratios, reducing disputes/chargebacks, and providing market-specific data & insights.
* Identify card authorization optimization opportunities for merchants and investigate/resolve soft declines and other payment performance issues.
* Build and leverage a strong executive network to enhance thought leadership in payments, and develop merchant and partner awareness of Ant International - Antom capabilities, focusing on payment optimization to drive business growth.
What You'll Bring:
* 5+ years of experience working with Issuers, card schemes, and payment networks within EMEA/US/APAC regions.
* Experience with executive relationships with Issuers & card schemes is a plus.
* Strong stakeholder management skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
* Fascination with the global financial ecosystem and a proactive approach to payment optimization for enterprise globalization.
* Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging with internal teams and external stakeholders at all levels.
* Strong product instinct with the ability to identify opportunities and leverage existing and future products of partners and Ant International.
* Excellent negotiation skills, capable of managing multiple complex deals across regions.
