Our client is looking for a hands-on IT Infrastructure Support Engineer to join their growing IT team and support the stability, security, and performance of their core technology environment.
This role combines infrastructure management and advanced technical support, ensuring business systems run efficiently while delivering a high-quality user experience across the organisation.
Candidates will live locally to Ashford and be able to commute daily. Time limited right to work will not be considered.
* Up to £35,000/annum
* 25+8 days holiday plus your Birthday off

Key Responsibilities
* Support and maintain servers, networks, and storage infrastructure
* Provide escalated technical support across hardware, software, and systems
* Administer Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and VMware / ESXi environments
* Assist with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure) and infrastructure optimisation
* Implement security best practices, backups, and disaster recovery procedures
* Support hardware deployments, asset management, and documentation
* Mentor junior team members and contribute to the continuous improvement of support processes.
Skills Required
* Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and VMware
* Knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu), AWS or Azure
* Understanding of networking, storage (NAS/SAN), and security principles
* Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions
