We’re seeking a hands-on Electronics Engineer to support the design, development, and maintenance of specific testing equipment. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain digital and analogue electronics for portable ultrasonic systems Create technical documentation and ensure compliance with EMC/EMR, CE, and other relevant standards Support production teams with high-level fault finding and troubleshooting Collaborate on system architecture, prototyping, and supplier coordination Assist with equipment installation, commissioning, and ongoing technical support Requirements: HND/Degree in Electronics or equivalent 3–5 years' experience in electronic design, including PCB layout and circuit simulation (e.g. Altium) Strong understanding of microprocessor systems (ARM, FPGA, PIC, Arduino) Experience with electronic circuit diagrams and maintaining/calibrating instrumentation Familiarity with EMC/EMR testing and CE marking processes Desirable: Knowledge of NDT systems, especially for rail inspection Details: Full-time, permanent Derbyshire (on-site role) Benefits: Private medical insurance, life insurance, wellbeing programme, on-site parking Travel: Up to 25%
